Service Description
A pregnancy Yoga class gives a pregnant person the opportunity to practice Yoga with Asanas (postures) specifically tailored to the needs of their growing body and adapted throughout the trimesters to ensure safe and effective practice. Attending in an person class gives mothers to be a safe space to rest, relax and reconnect with their baby. Pregnancy Yoga classes are suitable from 12 weeks and for as long as you feel comfortable throughout your pregnancy. n addition, it provides an opportunity to meet other like-minded people and to form a community for support. Other benefits of a pregnancy yoga class include: Can reduce postnatal recovery time due to increased fitness Improves circulation Improved sleep Increases stamina – helping to prepare for labour and motherhood Releases tension in achy muscles – especially lower back, shoulders and neck area Pelvic floor strengthened Can help manage anxiety and pre-natal depression Can increase confidence and self esteem Relaxation
